What I wrote after painting this: 

Sometimes you just have to sit down and paint. No Pressure. No Direction. Just let the canvas take you. I painted this in about an hour and a half. Everything was flowing. When I sat down I was thinking about women, which I often do. How amazing we are. How lucky we are that even when we have difficulties we're resilient, we're strong. We love hard and we fight hard. While painting this I kept thinking surrender. That's a difficult thing to do but I believe that we are called to do just that. And when we do, the fighting, the difficulties, the resiliency can all fall away and Love is what is left.  

And that sentiment is often what inspires what I paint.
